PANTS The colour of my pants is probably wrong but I can't know because a) the movie is so dark b) every picture I see of the screen used costume is different. What I can tell you is that they are brown. Not too dark, not too light... (The colour looks darker in all my pictures than it actually is!) We used some weird leather that was cheap and relatively thin because there's so much going on at the knee that I don't think that many people will notice the pattern, that is obvious in these photos. The top is mostly covered by tunic and the kneed is really the only exposed piece that gets attention.
The knee section is pleated and the overall texture of the leather is wrinkled. I had my pants made calf length. They tuck into my boots but they don't go to my ankles because that would be very hot/uncomfortable. The gathered kneed effect does not carry to the back of the pants
Instead of a zipper my seamstress made the sides tie up. I find this very comfortable and it hides well. The top is lined with cotton for comfort.
